Now that your account is set up, it’s time to start hiring! Here’s how to set up your first job vacancy.
Give your Job listing a name, and then select the location and type of employment (full-time, part-time, freelance etc.). Every job needs to be associated with a position, which refers to the role in the organization. For example, if you hire several front end developers for different teams, all these job ads would be grouped under the position ‘Front end developer’.
You can also assign a team to keep it organized. This is optional, but it might help to group positions by department or by project/ product.
If you want to hire internally, you can tick the box ‘Internal hiring’ which means that once you publish the job ad, it will only be accessible via a specific link.
Next, select the pipeline stages that are applicable to this job listing. In the pipeline overview, you can see how many candidates you have in each stage. The stage will also be visible on each candidate’s application, so that you can follow their progress.
Select the scorecard criteria that suits the job listing. You and your team will rate the candidates based on the selected criteria after each recruitment milestone.
In the next step, you’ll see your default introduction and application form that you created. You can remove some questions or add new ones if you like. You can also click ‘Preview form’ to see how the listing looks in real-time.
On the right side, you can switch off the application form toggle if you don’t need it.
Finally, you fill in the job details, description and customize the call to action text. Having a job page is also optional, and you can control this via the toggle switch.
That’s it! Click on the Save and activate button to publish the job listing.
Once you are ready to deactivate the job listing, turn off the toggle switch that says ‘Job is active’.
